I put the coins in on Monday before the site was totally bombed with visitors in the morning, and 2 days later they're still on there. I'm not too upset about it as I'm just 40 away from gold and I really don't care that much since it'll end up likely being more digital junk and at the gold level one of those useless calendars anyway.

I don't have a Wii/WiiU or I'd look into that one game.

And I'd be thrilled with a point card given up until this drop their physical rewards have been garbage for a couple years now other than that limited Luigi trophy I snapped up. There's a few things on the 3DS I'd get with that thing, easily for starters, 3D Afterburner 2.

Club Nintendo UK
Yous guys scored, the Game Watch reproduction is there! No idea why Europe was denied DLC, but a couple of nice physical prizes! Well maybe not the silly ring tones or PC wallpaper.

Posted a closeup picture of the 3DS pouch on the previous page.

If that Wii game is not digital, that'll end up getting disgustingly expensive anytime now with presell people all over it.

We definitely got screwed in the US. Real games, pins, badges, music cds, whatever that famicom is, and point cards! I'm glad I already have that Ball game & watch. It's the only really quality item they gave out as a platinum prize so I've kept that one.

Just so folks know, other than a few bids early on, there aren't many people biting on the puzzle from Club Nintendo, so hold your horses on the flippin' frenzy. ;)

(Translation: I'll just hang on to mine until it is worth something. I suspect eBay will get flooded with various merch from this whole deal, and they won't go for much.)

Looks like a steno-note pad to me, that Fami-com item. But overall, clear difference in the items. I mean it might be grass is greener mindset, but I like some of the UK offerings too.

Foam sets! A relaxation kit?! I want a Yoshi relaxation kit, seriously!

Speaking as someone from the UK, I happen to think our selection is shit. I'd much rather have the digital offers you guys have right now - particularly stuff like Doc Louis' Punch Out, which has never been given a PAL release.

I have 7850 stars waiting to be used, but I don't fancy a crappy sleep set or bag and I already have the Game & Watch.

7850? Whoa. Good grief, I'm pretty sure I didn't amass that many during the entire lifetime of the program. Did you actually use some of those along the way? Is there a big difference between the coins and stars or whatever?

I agree there is a lot of "grass is greener"... but I've always been jealous that other regions get CD soundtracks. That is a really cool collectible item in my opinion, and North America just doesn't offer them. There have been a bunch of other prizes NoE offered that never came out here too: the awesome SNES-style Classic Controller, mini Mario Kart trophies, assorted pins and badges, etc.

That said, I've gotten a lot of nice items (both physical and digital) from Club Nintendo here and a lot of the griping is unwarranted. People just find it easier to complain than appreciate what they've got, maybe?

My favorite Club Nintendo rewards so far:
* Fluidity (WiiWare download) - absolutely loved this game
* 3 x 3DS Card Case 18 - nice quality, convenient way to carry my whole DS/3DS collection
* 2 x Reversible pouch - nice quality, great solution for storing my loose GBA carts
* Super Mario Characters Figurine (platinum reward)

Got a bunch of other stuff too, but those are the things I actually appreciate most. Two things I regret missing out on? A 3DS XL cradle and the Luigi's Mansion figurine. Both sold out before I had a chance to order.

You get a lot more stars for registering a game in Europe. 250 for a physical game, 500 for a console and 50 for a digital download survey.

The Game & Watch systems costs 7500 right now, the Mario soundtrack is 4850 if that gives some more perspective.

Yup, same. Our selection is fucking terrible. I have a lot of coins as well, but I don't have the desire to spend any of them on the crap we have.
