As I posted earlier, DO NOT REDEEM COINS FOR DLC YET, it just might be your only choice for the Gold or Platinum prize. All download games will be available until June.

As far as which is the most rare, that depends on how many are "preordered" for the contract manufacture later on. You'll won't get rich reselling them.

I finally got thru and ordered one of the Zelda bag. Debating on posters and the puzzle.

Of note some of the games offered have FREE demos available for download! Get the demos while you can, they will go away eventually. I have 54 Wii demos for quite some time on my SD Card, the Nintendo Shop site only has 51 right now. A couple of the Wii games such as Fluidity and Truspace are pretty good. The DLC such as these will be the final end spending after the March Platinum comes up.

Do you guys in North America get decent rewards in the star catalogue then? I don't even bother registering my points anymore (and therefore death of Club Nintendo means nothing to me). It's too much effort for the terrible rewards.

A pink DS case, for the ORIGINAL 10 year old DS? Wii points cards? Ringtones? Mario wrapping paper? A Luigi relaxation set? (lol wat?) Erm, no thanks.

I'm talking about the UK Club Nintendo.

Bah! I have over 3500 coins and nothing to buy!
Just buy some of the physical goods. If you don't like them when they arrive, sell them and buy some games or whatever else you'd prefer. Hell, maybe you could sell a couple of canvas bags and have enough to pick up a couple of the old SFC controllers you so want.
I was going to suggest some of the physical goods which can be easily sold. The puzzle is going for around $80+ so far.

Also this will likely be the only way to get Doc Louis' Punch-Out if you didn't get that as the 2011 platinum prize and Club Nintendo is one of the only ways to get Grill Off unless buying the code off of EBay.

Maybe I'm missing something, but why shouldn't someone use the coins?

Wouldn't you kind of be screwing yourself holding out to get nothing out of your coinage now?

^ I think he means because you have until June to redeem your coins. If they make the Elite gifts available before then, you might have time to see what they are first before blowing your coins. If some of the digital games overlap, why waste coins when you can get them as a free Elite gift?

New message/banner on top of the Club Nintendo homepage:
We're experiencing heavy traffic at the moment, so accessing your account may take a little longer than usual and you may see display issues with your account when logged in. Please note that you'll have until 6/30/15 to redeem your rewards. Thank you for your patience.
The way they word it, they make it sound like you don't have to worry about them "running out" of a particular item. As discussed before in this thread, it looks like some items aren't even made yet. Maybe I'm reading that as the glass half full, I don't know. But it would be nice not having to worry about losing out on something because of a-holes that jump on it only to turn around and sell it on eBay or whatever.

I managed to sneak in and get the puzzle set. I decided against the digital stuff, for the reasons CRTGAMER mentioned, plus already owning most of them in physical form. So I'll take the set and sell it on eBay. ;)

Oh, by the way, coming in through a direct link to the Rewards page (via Google search or whatever) seems to work better. Thanks to rogue over at Talking Time for that nugget.

The only thing I'd probably get is the V2 Smash Posters. But when everything is said and done I won't have enough. I'll just wait.

I am thoroughly annoyed that Doc Louis's Punch-Out!! is even available. There was virtually no reason to choose it as a platinum reward now.

Fun Fact: If you attempt to login to the main page and it keeps spinning, try opening a URI in another browser window and it lets you into your account.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
