Club Nintendo is Being Replaced

I'll try and load Club Nintendo a few times every hour or so for the rest of today, but I've pretty much accepted that I wont be able to grab any of the physical items. Every time I try and load the page I either get the "sorry" message, or a connection timed out page, and when it does load all I've been getting the last few hours is a broken page. I was able to log in once a few hours ago, but I was logged off after trying to click on something.

The site has been down all day for me but I'm not going to sweat it I guess since I don't really want any of the physical rewards being offered. I was really hoping for a high coin statue or something but since they didn't do that I'm just going to grab a bunch of games. I believe I read someone saying that the reward games still give coins back as well so I might be able to grab a couple more than what I have planned out so far. I figure I'll grab...

Was able to get the messenger bag (which really surprised me since I didn't remember to check today till 1230pm Pacific time) and got the confirmation page, then got site down for maintenance message. Still have about 800 coins left to buy up some games once it settles but I am stoked I got one of the physical prizes before it sold out (like every other cool prize they never offered)

Got all the conformation emails for my items. Six emails in total, but three of them are duplicates. I remember this happening when I ordered that first Smash poster set a few months ago. Sorry to say, dsh, but I think the extra email is just a fluke. I only got one set of posters, so I wouldn't be expecting an extra bag if I were you

You probably lucked out since so many people (including me) are/were having trouble accessing the site or staying logged on long enough to order anything.

I know it took me a lot of attempts to get that bag. Many of which included me managing to log in, only to be kicked off when I clicked on the "order this item" button. I came dangerously close to banging my head on my desk in frustration.



For anyone still hoping for something physical, keep trying. I managed to find a brief moment to get on around lunch time, so maybe you'll luck out around dinner or rush hour. Persevere!

I was really tempted to get that messenger bag, but I would just be worried about its durability since I'd likely use it regularly.

Yeah I stuck with downloadable games. Got Golden Sun and Super Mario 3D Land...have 200 coins to spend still. wonder what I should get. Any suggestions?

and I think i'll get earthbound as a download and prob have enough coins to get a small download of something else.

I read that someone called Nintendo and they said the bags shouldn't sale out today, they haven't even made them yet so they are seeing how many orders they get.
