I really don't like the art style but I love me some Monster World, so I'll likely give it a go if there is a console version.

yeah "Booze." I'm baffled as well. Personally, I like the art style. I'm pretty excited.

Adding another to my list:
Battlelore Command - PC

Battlelore is the most complicated version of Richard Borg's Command and Color system to date. If you have heard of boardgames like Battlecry or Memoir 44, it is the fantasy version. The original Battlelore is one of my favorite board games - I two of everything for it except the Dragons expansion. However the game was way to expensive to continue producing so they streamlined it and FFG released Battlelore 2.0. Shortly after they released an iOS and Android version that has online play and no fiddly bits (both versions have lots of pieces). Recently it was greenlit on Steam, but the release date is 2015. I have played it on an ipad and it is perfect for vs games, so it is a day one buy for me, I highly recommend it to any one who wants a solid vs strategy game you can play in an hour or so. Sadly Memoir 44 is not being rebuilt and we are stuck with the horrid java version that is pay to play.

Yes! I hope they change the name to Monster Boy in Wonder World, just to really piss off Sega.

There's probably a drinking game that's explained in the instruction manual. :P

for some reason I picked up the GTA5 Brady guide over the weekend. I'm fairly sure I've never purchased a guide for a game that I don't even own yet. The book is massive. I think I was just excited about flipping thru and seeing all the weird stuff I can explore. So yeah. Game pre-ordered. :|

GTA: SA and GTA IV have both soured me on the series, and I seem to recall that you also stopped playing a good deal around the VC-era. So, you'll have to let me know if you think the series has the old magic back or if it is just a fresh coat of paint on a bunch of stagnant ideas. I have "held out" for the PC version but, at this point, will probably continue to "hold out" for a sub-$20 Steam deal on GTA V...

right, I've played only PS2-era installments, so this will be a big jump to me. I'm not sure if you saw me talk earlier about it but what really got me interested in V was all the non-mission stuff. I guess it just looks like a really interesting open world, that I'm sort of intending to be my go-to relaxation game. Like, if I don't really know what I want to play, I can just fire up that world and do whatever. Things like racing cars, playing golf, exploring the ocean, hiking mountains, etc. The level of detail sounds amazing to me. Though I think the deciding factor to me was two-fold: (1) the inclusion of first person mode on PC, and (2) I heard that if you go to certain places at certain times of night you can spot UFO's in the sky. C'mon. That's awesome.

That said, I think if this were to come out in the Spring/Summer I'd probably be waiting for a sale. But because it's coming out Q1 and there's been no other AAA releases that I feel really compelled to jump on, it seems like there's less competition for new games to spend $ on right now. I mean, I think the only 2015 game I've bought so far has been Double Dragon Trilogy.
