What should a sandwich have in it?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Alright, just got some french bread to make a sandwich with tomorrow. When I use french bread in a sandwich, I typically won't use that much ingredients, compared to the ones I listed in OP which might be best in a sub.

Are burgers considered sandwiches?

If so that opens up a whole bunch of nonsense for me.

No, I'd like to think they are two separate entities.

Pretty much two slices of bread some mayo and ketchup and whatever meat happens to be laying around. Got hooked on using mayo + ketchup on pretty much everything when I was eating cafeteria lunches at school and it's stuck all these years. Something about a good 2:1 ketchup to mayo mixture just tastes awesome to me  .

Silly people, these things go on toast. They don't make sandwiches.

If you are ever in the Seattle area (either in the Fremont neighborhood, or near Golden Gardens Beach), then you need to go to Paseo and tried one of their amazing Cuban sandwiches. They are our city's favorite hidden away sandwich shop.

I'm vegetarian, so I only ever order this:

Melt

Home of crazy grilled cheese. Some of them are quite awesome. And they have a wonderful beer list to accompany their fine sammiches.

Yes. It's defined as a sandwich consisting of one or more cooked patties of ground meat, usually beef, placed inside a sliced bun
