What should a sandwich have in it?

Alright, just got some french bread to make a sandwich with tomorrow. When I use french bread in a sandwich, I typically won't use that much ingredients, compared to the ones I listed in OP which might be best in a sub.

Pretty much two slices of bread some mayo and ketchup and whatever meat happens to be laying around. Got hooked on using mayo + ketchup on pretty much everything when I was eating cafeteria lunches at school and it's stuck all these years. Something about a good 2:1 ketchup to mayo mixture just tastes awesome to me .
