Really annoyed, Dreamcast backups?!?!?
Re: Really annoyed, Dreamcast backups?!?!?
I just convert the CDI files to NRG because I happen to own Nero. As long as I burn the disc Disc at Once in Nero it usually comes out just fine. No messing with speeds or whatnot.
Re: Really annoyed, Dreamcast backups?!?!?
Some places keep their burns in NRG format anyway, so if you've got an old enough version of Nero, it's not a bad idea.

No, not all of them are, for example my copy of chu chu rocket needs the utopiaboto disk to start up. If you don't have a utopia boot disk yet, I greatly recommend getting one and trying it out. Mine is version 1.3 but there might be a newer one available. Also, you can try a code breaker disk. Mine works about half the time as boot disk. Another good thing about the code breaker is that you can play imports on it and triple the amount of games available.jay00 wrote:Yea, I downloaded a CDI image of Soul Caliber from SNES O RAMA and it had (CDI)(SB)beside the title on the list. This means self-boot, so there is a possibility that the Illbleed CDI image was not a "self-boot" image. Is this the case then? Not all CDI are self-boot, right?
