If anything Nintendo is going to have to come to market first since the Wii lacks graphics power. They had one huge hit with the Wii and it's fun remote but I can't see it staying competitive through the life of the PS3.

That's my bet as well.
Microsoft might be soon after --- they need to fix their hardware issues.
Sony will probably be in it for the long haul. At this point they really don't have anything to gain by coming out with anything new.

the way i see it, there is approximately a 6 year turn around period on ALL major corporate releases. for example, in the last few years you have seen Microsoft go from XP to vista, Sony go from PlayStation 2 to 3, Nintendo going from game cube to wii, Microsoft going from the xbox to the xbox 360. so my guess is that once the six years is up, you'll more than likely see a new beta from Microsoft for their new o.s. (excluding the windows 7 they have recently released), and all the news at that point will be focusing on what consoles will be coming out next. so to sum up this reply, probably not until 2012-2015 would be my guess, will you be seeing any other consoles.
