first stage is a rather bland top down driving game much like spy hunter, but the stages after that are quite enjoyable 2d sidescrolling action like ninja gaiden or shatterhand.

I need to install a new 72 pin on my nes. The 72 pin I got is a really bad 72 pin connector. Always getting the red or blue screen.
So I got one from a good friend and it's from mcm distributors. Anyone ever use these?

They're really easy to install. All you need is a screwdriver, a new 72-pin connector, and a tutorial. The whole process takes less than twenty minutes.

Some folks here on Racketboy don't like them, but they've worked wonders for me.

I think ultimately there is more than one variety of aftermarket 72-pin connector and some are better than others.

Also, Vice is an awesome game.

You know, females are a diverse lot. Some of them even like games that aren't puzzle games or don't have bishonen protagonists or pink in them. :P
For real.

On a related note if I had one bit of advice for another guy about what games his girlfriend might like my advice would be to not do anything and just see if they take an interest in the hobby. I know too many guys, many of which are close friends, who just can't accept that their girlfriend/wife simply might not be into gaming and constantly try to shoe horn it into the relationship. It's really aggravating and believe me I am not a feminist by any stretch. It's just that I wouldn't like it if my girlfriend was constantly trying to get me to make jewelry or paint or brew beer when I legitimately had no interest. Plus it just feeds into those Big Bang Theory-esque stereotypes people really need to get over.

Not saying mas is one of those guys whatsoever, I just know too many like that and it bears mentioning IMO.

Tries to be a lot of things and succeeds well.

Too good of a story to describe here.

Driving, platforming, shooting. Much better than Bayou Billy at all those types.

I'd say it's something like Ninja Gaiden perhaps.

OK I put in the new 72 pin but I can't put or keep games locked. I even removed the last two screws of the black sliding drawer and loosen up the middle screw of the console. What gives?

Did you get the tab under the front of the board? You have to plop it down a little bit forward, then slide it back. If that tab at the front of the tray isn't clipped under the edge of the board, it causes all sorts of weirdness with the tray.

 I made the exact same mistake the first time I replaced a 72-pin. It drove me crazy as the first DIY video I saw did not make mention of this little detail.
