How's your NES gaming going? What's your NES library like?

Post by darsparx »

Ok I know there's a SNES topic(and most likely a NES one too but buried too deep to find and I'd be accused of necromancing) but what is your nes library like? I'll post mine here(including ones I have on the way and update it in new replies when I get new ones):

  1. Wolverine
  2. Flintstones: The rescue of Dino and Hoppy
  3. Bugs Bunny: Birthday Blowout
  4. Thrilla's Surfari
  5. Captain Planet and The Planeteers
  6. Dragon Warriors I (scored this one for 5.11 with shipping, or 2.25 without it)
  7. Joshua
  8. Megaman 4
  9. Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt
  10. Super Mario 3
  11. Dr Mario
  12. Exodus: Journey to the promised land
  13. King of Kings: The early years
  14. Bugs Bunny: Crazy Castle
  15. Crystalis

Hopefully that will be twice as big or more by the end of the year but only time will tell(also will hopefully depend on if I keep it right price on ebay or even make it to the stores that are on the other side of the town). What does everyone else's library look like? (photos would be better I'm going to do the same for follow ups :D)

Pics then :P I encourage it and definitely won't list mine out again, I'm going to take pics for it once I expand it to at least 50...Especially since I have at least 50 or so to add if not more to my collection. It's just going to take awhile even visiting one or two of the local game stores and even keeping on ebay. That's even if I can get the rest of megaman and try to start my castlevania collection(i've been itching to try out that series but for this month I'm done collecting new games for the collection)

Id bend out the pins first, Ive done that on two of my toaster NES's before replacing a 72 pin and got several more years of use out of them.

Well the whole reason why I'm thinking to replace the pins is because of the fact, I have to either completely remove a game and stick it back in or jiggle it around and press reset, which on every game no matter how I feel like I pushed it in just right happens for some odd reason. Which is kinda sad, though right now I'm trying to keep the system on since Birthday Blowout and the others don't have a save function so I'm trying to beat blowout and doing pretty well right now(especially considering I have like 20 lives now and on Stage 3 I think...I hit the jackpot on the mini-game and I hit it at least once or twice every time i get to play it just about...

Well mine doesn't XD you can play it but has that blinking thing every time no matter what until I jiggle it and hit reset...
