I think one thing Terminator Genisys has going for it is a distinct lack of J. J. Abrams.

I like J. J., he's like a more palatable Michael Bay.

However, Star Wars does have that going for it.

And with the two examples of Star Trek under his improvement I expect Star Wars to do far better than the last three.

IMO, it would be hard to do much worse.

I'm still trying to figure out how the CG in the Genisys trailer looks worse than the CG from 20 years ago.

I did not perceive this particular problem. Please elaborate.

I didn't notice that either, what's the beef? Is it the late 70s CGI Arnie?

There were a couple of scenes with the T-1000 like character that just looked off to me. Granted, it was a quick shot...

After another viewing though, the rest of it doesn't look too bad.

Ed Wood could have made a more entertaining Star Wars than the first three episodes.

Also, I can't seriously be expected to have any faith in a new Terminator that has a cutesy shmutezy misspelling in the title. Unless Skynet is actually like some future evil social networking company like Meow Meow Beenz.
