I think people often forget this fact. Adjusting for inflation, buying a $60 SNES game in 1994 is equivalent to paying $96.13 for a game today.
How much should Phantasy Star IV be worth now?!
Assuming you purchased it for $90 in 1995, you would pay $140.22 for that game today!

.....

You can find the inflation calculator at:

http://www.bls.gov/data/inflation_calculator.htm

It is completely free and much more fun than AD&D: Heroes of the Lance.

So basically the usual price on ebay.

I was a bit too young and not really able to buy my own games back during the SNES days, but I definitely remember those $70-80 N64 releases haha.

I was young during the SNES era as well. Game purchases where far and few between.

I never owned a Neo-Geo but I was told they were being sold for something like $185 in around 94 here. Adjusted to inflation that almost $300 per game. For comparison purposes, I just found an Xbox One+AC: Unity for $350 online...

I just played this game, which references?

Neo Geo has always been insane.

Massive technologically advanced cartridges = huge prices back in the day
Limited print runs and intense collector's market = huge prices today

I'll never forget the $79.99 price tag for Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire on the N64 at release.

I was probably about 11 or so and even I thought that was expensive.

When I was a kid back then I knew people who owned Master Systems, TurboGrafx 16 consoles, even a 3DO. I never knew a single person in real life who owned a Neo Geo. I never even saw one demoed in any store I went to. The system was always this mythical thing that looked amazing in magazine screenshots but was utterly unreachable.

Ok now i get why people were saying farcry 3 was trying to be more smart than it actually is. Any ending of the game is really off with the rest of it and i find both of them hilarious for some reason

All of the folowing PS3 games are less than $10 at Gamestop right now:
Angry Birds: Star Wars
Enchanted Arms
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage
Fracture
Hellboy: The Science of Evil
Killer Is Dead
NeverDead
Prototype
Red Faction: Armageddon
Red Faction: Guerilla
Sega Superstar Tennis
Despite their mostly mixed reviews, I am still tempted to buy them. I would, however, like some feedback from the community. Are there any I should definitely get? Any I should definitely avoid?
