Yeah, it's got some good ideas, but the execution wasn't all there. Is it the worst on the NES? Not by far. There's even worse from DE (Karate Champ).

Even the ad promised lots of ACTION

If you're gonna play it, in human form be sure to hold your attack button down to charge up a far more powerful attack. It will make things a lot easier.

Ah, knew I forgot one: The other game I recently picked up but haven't gotten around to playing was Mad Max. That's one thing I like about the NES. If there was something cool from the time period, there's usually an NES game for it. It's fun to try all these 8-bit licensed games going in completely cold.

The last game I purchased was Werewolf: The Last Samurai, which I have not played yet.

I have played more Nes games over the last month than any other system which is unusual for me being a multi-format retro gamer from the UK but anyway i played - Megaman 2, Adventures Of Lolo, Duck Tails, Legacy Of The Wizard, A Boy and His Blob and Arkanoid. I enjoyed them all to be honest including Boy and his blob which I am still trying to get past the early stages.

Think I'm gonna make it the whole year without buying a single NES game. I have purchased some Famicom games though.

I didn't begin "collecting" video games until 2010 or so. I missed the boat on cheap NES stuff.

NES only got expensive like 2 years ago, back in 2010 and 2011 most the popular stuff was still around $10, hell you could get all the Mega Mans for less than $20 each except MM5 which was around $30. I passed on Bucky Ohare back in 2011 because it was selling for $20 and to me at the time $20 for an NES game was expensive haha, oh what a fool I was :(

You and I have different definitions of expensive.

I guess 2nd gen collectors such as myself get used to really cheap stuff.

Thankfully I'm not big into collecting "sets" and original pressings and whatnot, so I'm perfectly content playing Castlevania on GBA, the Mega Man games on Xbox, etc...

What in the heck? Seriously? I picked my copy up a year or two ago for a lot less than that. This is getting absolutely insane. Can we please jettison all the crazy people driving the prices up so quickly? That's like a four-to-sixfold increase in just the space of a couple of years.

I think the last NES cart I picked up was Isolated Warrior. Not expensive yet!
