To note, you can also take the despecialized editions TS files and transcode them into MKVs, they will stream over a network using DLNA no problems using PS3 Media Server or Plex. Dual layer DVD-Rs can be a bit pricey. (They're also not long lasting)

^ You know you can get the original theatrical versions on DVD from NetFlix? They're only Laserdisc transfers, so they're letterboxed, but surely that's better than used VHS tapes from a thrift store.

Or be a boss and watch it on Laserdisc, or CED. I may own the original trilogy on most formats... If the 8mm versions would pop up at a decent price I would own those too.

What I still don't get is why Lucas is so freaking ashamed of the original film(he should be happy people liked it the way it was instead of him thinking it's a half finished piece of trash....apparently he's the only one to see it that way )
