Last artist I listened to was Mindless Self Indulgence. Before that was Fantômas.

I tend to listen to whole albums rather than just songs.

it's easy to know what I've been listening to frequently:

I tend to switch between bands and just let the albums loop over and over for a while. Seeing as my PC is pumping music out 24/7, some albums loop a LOT.

top choices right now appear to be:

ohGr

Nine Inch Nails - sleep music

Muse - sleep music

Plaid - sleep music

3OH!3

Mute Math - sleep music

Locust Toybox

The Postal Service - sleep music

Orgy

The Offspring

Peter Gabriel

Gogol Bordello

Justice

Clint Mansell - sleep music

A Perfect Circle - I have no idea how this got on my list... I don't remember listening to it. What the hell??? Must of been my brother.

Let's see now... my current favorite songs.

I'm probably going to miss some, but here goes something.

Barenaked Ladies - Falling for the First Time
The Black Keys - Meet Me In the City (Junior Kimbrough cover)
Brendan Benson - Tiny Spark
Foo Fighters - Cheer Up Boys, Your Makeup Is Running and Monkey Wrench
Fountains of Wayne - Mexican Wine
Gorillaz - Double Bass
Johnny Boy - You Are the Generation That Bought More Shoes and You Get What You Deserve
MF Doom - Kookies (Just Blaze Remix)
Neutral Milk Hotel - Holland 1945 and In The Aeroplane Over the Sea
Pearl Jam - Given To Fly, Growin' Up (Live Bruce Springsteen cover), Yellow Ledbetter and Baba O'Reilly (Live Who cover, there's hundreds of them)
Pete Yorn - Dancing in the Dark (Bruce Springsteen cover)
The Pillows - Crazy Sunshine
Polaris - Hey Sandy (the theme from the Adventures of Pete and Pete)
Reel Big Fish - Take On Me (Ah-Ha cover)
The Replacements - Alex Chilton and Can't Hardly Wait (Tim version)
The Rolling Stones - Moonlight Mile,
Ryan Adams - In-Between Days (Cure cover)
The Smiths - There Is A Light That Never Goes Out
Soul Asylum - Somebody to Shove
Tripping Daisy - Friends/Sigmund And The Seamonsters (cover of this old children's show. Never saw the show but dang is this song catchy)
Wilco - I'm Always In Love

Also I've really been digging the version of "The Fragrance of Dark Coffee " from Gyakuten Saiban Meets Jazz, as well as the song "Damn Twisted Person" from the Sayonara Zetsbou Sensei anime.
I wanted to be a Teminator but they require you have an armored hyperalloy skeleton and mine's mostly recycled truck tires.

I just came across a group recently the MC5. I heard of them in the past but never picked up on them. I have to say though the MC5 are some bad ass mother fuckers. The Dillinger Escape Plan is pretty good a little to heavy sometimes, but good. I enjoy listening to them when skulls must be bashed in.
