I also really enjoy Darius 2 on the Genesis, and Darius Burst on the PSP.

I have Darius Twin on SNES, haven't played much of it tho, I just probly bust that out and give it another shot

+1 PSP for shmups, not only for actual PSP shmups, but all (or most of) the emulation you can shake a stick at in portable format with decent controls.

Not a big fan of emulation tho, I feel like whenever I emulate, I can't really get into the game, I always try to buy physical copies as much as possible.
