I also really enjoy Darius 2 on the Genesis, and Darius Burst on the PSP.

+1 PSP for shmups, not only for actual PSP shmups, but all (or most of) the emulation you can shake a stick at in portable format with decent controls.

Holy crap, I have to get a PSP now, those shmup compilations look awesome!
Not a big fan of emulation tho, I feel like whenever I emulate, I can't really get into the game, I always try to buy physical copies as much as possible.TSTR wrote:+1 PSP for shmups, not only for actual PSP shmups, but all (or most of) the emulation you can shake a stick at in portable format with decent controls.

I feel the same, it's not as satisfying for some weird reason.Rokogu wrote: Not a big fan of emulation tho, I feel like whenever I emulate, I can't really get into the game, I always try to buy physical copies as much as possible.

More PSP shmup goodness:

As for emulation, I love it and use it extensively. How else am I supposed to play PC-88 games?
