Fair enough. I had already deleted that episode from my memory....well basically it's going very downhill this season. I don't know if it's the fault of the new doctor, the writers or both.
It's always the writers fault as far as Doctor Who goes. They've had actors as great as Eccleston, Tennant, Smith and Capaldi (all big TV/stage actors) and make them do junk scripts like Curse of the Black Spot and Fear Her. This season has had fewer terrible episodes for me than Smith's run but yeah, none of it has been stellar.
And to be honest, this is the first time I've ever looked up a spoiler to see where that weird "heaven" plotline is going. Turns out, nowhere interesting.

My memory of the shitty Smith episodes has been jumbled by the awesomeness of his season premiere's/finales, but now that you mentioned it he did get stuck with some turds too xD.
Link me, I'm curious but not really that excited to wait and see what it's about (specially after the disappointment of the mystery behind the name of the doctor)

I think Smith is my favourite Doctor but damn did he get stuck with a lot of crap. I am a bit biased though because I never really liked River Song as anything but a one off character.

Really? I found that Tennant was stuck with more shit. Then again what you feel for River Song I felt for all 3 of his main companions, so that might explain it. I really enjoyed his male companions though (specially the American who got his own spin-off, which I never bothered to watch).

Cybermen. Again.
zzzzzzZZZZZzzzzzzZZZZZzzzz . Really the boneless were a wasted opportunity, they would make for much season finale villains than the same old monsters again.

Ok this Doctor is seriously an asshole, and not the fun kind like Sherlock or House. I feel sorry for Capaldi cause his acting is great, but the writers just decided to make him this "monster" and well.....his Doctor sucks.
Anyway, at least the series finale will be again a two-parter (thank god, cause last year's "we don't do 2 parters any more" really made the series suffer)

This season I've been trying to not be overly critical of the usual plot conceits recent Who is famous for but still saturday's episode was really, really dumb on a lot of levels. Just a string of bafflement and dumb character decisions. And what was up with that girl's sister just being in the bushes at the end? Ech!
