Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

My plan is to wait for the Surface Pro 4 to come out; by then I'll have built up some savings again. Right now my money is going to be going towards the kitchen remodel.Stark wrote:Microsoft Surface Pro 3, kinda in-between.noiseredux wrote:I don't know what a lapblet is, but I'm glad you're playing.Stark wrote:Just installed EU on my lapblet, so I'll be playing this again soon. Did a terror mission tonight. Setup was two buildings with a large alleyway between. For some reason, a bunch of the alien scum decided to gather all in the same area there in the alley. How convenient. Col. Noise fed those bastards a rocket, taking out 2 Cyberdiscs and 4 Drones all in one go.
Fuck yeah, Col. Noise.
Fuck yeah, Col. Noise.

I just started and I'm getting my ass handed to me pretty consistently. I think part of my problem is not upgrading the right things, and having a bad understanding of the games mechanics. Losing my save on the game with the tutorial led me to really be confused about what I'm doing. I got the trophy though...
And I'll be damned if I don't have a bunch of soldiers who only have a 25% chance of hitting a guy about 10 feet away.

satellites. Until you have full satellite coverage, that's your focus.

Probably just the angle you're shooting at, I don't remember accuracy being THAT bad.Forlorn Drifter wrote:

Y'know, that alien might have been in full cover. I had my soldier covering on the same car as him, h might have been on a part that was full cover.

NANO Fibers and Scopes are your best friend in the early game. And focus on getting that satellite coverage up as Noise said.
Older. Not wiser.
