heavily online focused game gets released and has server trouble. gamers who take any shit gaming publishers throw at them (first day dlc, online passes, always online drm, ect) find it appropriate to complain about something that's to be expected (seriously, have these people not played any mmo on release month?)
From the quotes they gave, it does sound like they had woefully inadequate testing, begging the question of whether the devs had looked at MMO launches either

Customers expecting the product they were sold to work right isn't really a stretch. I don't disagree that a lot of online games wind up being semi-broken initially, but the bigger lessons to be learned there are on the service side.

does anyone else play QuizUp? It's probably the only Android game I've ever really enjoyed.

According to metal gear rising revengence score, it took me 5:32 to finish the game on my first run... wonder if it counts the retry's since i did quite a few on some bosses.

Every game that has a PC version could learn from Serious Sam 3's options menu. It's exactly how it should be. It has auto-detect, various presets, then a megaton of options for serious enthusiasts who know how many light sources they want and such. Runs buttery smooth too, even if it's not the prettiest game.

Yes. I'm in the same boat.

I've downloaded probably twenty android games and deleted all but QuizUp.

Now I have to try that. The only games that have held my attention have been well-done Android versions of board games I already love (Neuroshima Hex and Dominion)
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

For the last month or so I haven't really had the urge to play games. I even thought about selling a bunch off but I know I'll regret that later. It's not that I don't have the time either. I read and watch more videos about games than play them. Aside from the occasional urge to buy a copy of Metro Redux I really don't want to pick up a controller. :?

Been there done that. For the last couple of weeks i was having more fun searching and buying games than actually playin them

But the need comes and goes. In this time of the year i have very limited amount of time and can only play, if i can play, a game that is short and won't require a lot of time into it (i have dead space 2 and 3, thief, deus ex, tomb raider, deadly premonition, wolfestein, and a couple other games that i won't play since they are like 12 hours long and that already too much with the small time i have).
