It seems like you just really don't approve of anyone having a bit of an immature sense of humor. It's actually poking fun at how a lot of us freak out over stuff like video games, and we laugh at ourselves. A friend of mine once said he hates "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" because he would never hang out with those kinds of people in real life. The following is probably a brash statement, but I think you're doing it wrong if that's how you view entertainment.
