I wanna some action, no some 80's style story about Ryu and some ancient statue
which game are you playing?

And I know it's a cinematic platformer, but I loved the story and world building in abe's exodus.

It really is oddly compelling. To be fair, it has more game to it than most simulators too. It's not simply driving a truck. You get to pick up various jobs that pay various sums of money. You can expand into different countries. Build up cash to buy faster, more comfortable trucks. You have to consider weight, whether the cargo is fragile, etc. Balance between speed and fuel economy.

And if that doesn't appeal to you, you can also tailgate people while holding down the horn to see if they'll brake check you (I swear they will).

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is far more expansive than the original but no Mac OS compatibility (edit: yet, it's coming apparently). Once my larger SSD gets here I look forward to trying it out, since the original alone is still a lot of fun.

Just finished the Last of Us, and man. I think I'm in opposition with a lot of people, but I love the way they ended it. Beautiful wrap up, it makes me think of a Cormac McCarthy story.

I like it when a big exclusive title for a console deliberately fills in for said console's genre deficiencies. Games like Blinx for the oXbox, Geist for the GC, or LittleBigPlanet on the PS3. It gives me hope that platform holders know that a varied exclusive lineup is still a necessary thing.

I hate hate hate the old-school "spiderman" type PS3 spines. So very glad The Cover Project has most of them redone in the new style that I can print out and replace (just slipping them in over the old covers, not actually hurting the old covers, don't worry) and get some uniformity with my games.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

I'm indifferent between the two, I just hate that Sony changed the spines midway through. Same with the PSP.

I like the newer style because I feel they're more like the PS1/PS2 spines -- uniformity is the name of the game.

I have very few PSP games, so I don't think I've ran into the old style yet, but I'll just update them when I do :)
