That's a bummer dude. My one complaint about 8 that was addressed in an update was I had no idea how to get out of app things without alt f4ing then they added an exit red X button to everything and now I'll actually use them.

The Metro interface is probably a better option. Especially because you can launch anything you might need.

I honestly thought it'd be easier to add things to WMC, it's very annoying that it isn't and no media center software seems to do everything that's required.

I'm just as shocked as you. It seems counter intuitive that Metro would be a better option for customizing a media center than... well, Media Center. Haha.
