no it sometimes good to sleep paralysis you could out you body and fly around like a ghost you could see people in heaven it is called astroprojection or OBE out of body experience

Wow I didn't know that it was that common...
The last time time I remember waking up with some strange figure next to me, used to happen before I was married after a long night at the bar - I used to wake up to see girls who I didn't recognize because they didn't look as good as I thought they did the night before.

It happens to me occasionally. Most times have involved aliens but sometimes it's ghost that are standing over me. It is one of the worst things i've experienced. Definately didn't know it was common.
