Creepy. Isn't sleep paralysis one of the scientific explanations for alleged alien abductions? I hope it stops.

That reminds me, I need to play Okami sometime soon.

Yeah, I get it from time to time. Mine's kinda cool though. I'll see everything in the room, but a black robed and hooded figure is always standing over me and staring at me. You can regulate breathing in the state, so I tend to focus on that until I can force my way out of it.

yes and it is freaking scary. I usually have a figure in front of me in a completely white room, I cant see, hear, breathe or anything but when I think about moving my hand etc. this shadow figure moves. Every time though there is some kind of puzzle w/ different objects that appear in the white room (its my room, but the door is gone and nothings in there, its just white, and there is no floor or ceiling that i can see) that i have to do to break the paralysis. Then when I wake i cant see and i feel like ive been hit in the head hard. Happens about once a month.

I'd probably shit my pants if something like that happened to me. Are there any causes to it because sounds like something I want to avoid.
