The first one is the best. Terror from the deep is also good but it's way harder than the first and also darker. Xcom apocalypse i could just never get the hang of. Interceptor was an interesting space sim.

There's also an open-source 3D remake of the first X-Com game, too. I can't remember the name off the top of my head, but it's pretty nice, very addictive, even in its unfinished state. UFO: Afterlight? Or is that a different game?
