Yes, but generally people channel their craziness through the SEC and church....

some places have the trees, there's lots of Magnolias and Dogwoods, southern pine, spanish moss, azaleas (thanks to my granddad for his hybrids), tortoises, possums, deer, 'coons, turkeys, buzzards, cudzu, Sweet Tea, roadkill, fishing ponds, rumors of a giant supermagnet (like in Lost?), rumors of an old zombie outbreak in a podunk town, ghosts, Civil War monuments, LAN centers, Unitarian churches, couple of synagogues, Fort God (as we call it), Shriners clubs, Snake-handlers, foot-washers, music scene, poets, artists, scientists, Wildlife sciences, punks, emo, country, cell phones, internet, computer programmers, actors, sushi bars, bbq, Korean immigrants, Japanese, Chinese, grits, fried chicken, cornbread, military training facilities, College Democrats, humidity, hackers, Swine Time Festival, metropolitan areas, bumfuck nowhere, private schools, public schools, home-schooling, fine dining, mansions, trailer parks, white trash, black trash, green trash, Eco-terrorists, PETA, O'reilly fans, color TVs, AND PhDs!!
