You'd probably like Black Lagoon, Gungrave, etc, if you haven't seen them.
I've heard of them, not seen them yet though.

And yeah, that's kinda the main reason I liked Trigun more. Each of the shows start off fun and lighthearted with episodes that might as well be disconnected from each other. Trigun doing random futuristic wild west hi-jinks and Bebop doing random outer space bounty hunter hi-jinks. Both were amazing in their own right for those kinds of episodes.

But then near the end they each start getting more serious in tone, and that's where the divide is in my opinion. Trigun still felt fun and exciting the whole way, and it had a conclusive as well as satisfying ending. Bebop on the other hand got a bit more mellow and dramatic. It worked well and the story was still great, but it just wasn't as fun. Then it had a rather ambiguous ending, something which I've never been a fan of.
I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

Trigun is a lot of fun. I ended up liking the manga a lot more than the anime though. It'd be cool for them to do a new animation Hellsing Ultimate style.

Is Knives even that big of a villain? I know the anime supposedly only covers a tiny fraction of the manga. It definitely leaves off with a cliffhanger...

The new movie was kind of whatever too. Just like an extended random long episode.

A full remake covering everything would be great. Madhouse should do it when they wrap up HxH 2011! lol

GITS: SAC

I downloaded the whole series so I can watch it from the beginning. I've caught a few episodes on Toonami back in the day. It peeked my interest, but I am only now just getting to watching the series.

Funny it took me a few seconds to figure out what the initials stand for and that one is definitely on my radar to watch right after I get caught up on my anime that I have been watching and attempting to get caught up on(FT, and OP...still need to get caught up on SAO2 though and broaden my horizons ha ha)

Well apparently done with One Piece for awhile just finished 336(the chopperman tv station episode which for filler isn't bad at all). Ah well on to fairy tail until they post more since I need to get caught up anyways...

SAC is amazing. I liked the second season even more, it's got a bit more bigger story arcs and more prominent villains. But yeah, wish we could have gotten more.

The new Arise movies are cool too. Just remember, Arise, SAC, the movies, and the manga, are all their own alternate timelines lol.
