Nope. You have lifetime points. Those never go away. Each year it tells you whether you reached gold or platinum. So its kinda a reset. But as long as you reach either one, you're set.

To elaborate, coin purchases spent are accounted a bit different from the Platinum/Gold status. Think of the status as just a separate annual count of what you entered for the year.

1. The Platinum and Gold expire out EVERY year.
2. Coins expire every TWO years.

The expiration happens every July, use that a basis for registering your games and systems. I have been putting just enough codes in to meet the Platinum status every year so I would not lose any extras that could be entered the following Platinum year. A trade off risk of games losing value or even worse dropping from the eligible list.

Today at the fleamarket I found a complete copy of Wii Play for $2.00. When I typed it in to club nintendo earlier, I only got 20 points. So yeah. It looks like it did drop down in points. I would definitely recommend you double check your points to that list CRTgamer put up.

On the previous page, I quoted a 2012 list. Here is the current 2014 listing. All Nintendo Game Systems still have point value as well. I really should enter all the Wii and DS games, very likely they will be removed by July 2015.
