Like dsheinem said, this is a fucking joke. Nintendo completely copped out this year. This makes the lame pin set from last year seem totally awesome by comparison. The rewards have been progressively worse and worse each year but I never thought they'd resort to lame download codes. Just pitiful. I doubt I'll care to reach platinum next year.

I think going forward I'm not going to attempt to cash in anymore other than the points I get and not try and pick up more titles cheap used to fill out the totals.
Last year had 2 very weak real items and mostly digital, now it's entirely digital long term rental junk. I'll probably get the DKCR for 3DS because the only other appealing title is Game & Wario and it's just so weak I don't want it again (had it on a disc.) There are other good games but the price is so low it's not worth it.
A download only offering of crap, not even an exclusive Nintendo gift that is real and not digital only. There are not even Wii or DS games offered, just 3DS and and WiiU. I guess all the Wii game codes I entered the past year have no more influence. I still have codes left to enter for the next year, but might not even bother wasting time answering the survey.
The one good thing for little what it is worth is the digital prizes will not run out. I'm waiting until the last week in a slim hope enough fury will bring out a real award that one can pick up literally.

That's most people's signal to complain.
I think I am fairly objective of Nintendo and give them shit for stuff when warranted. But this is a rewards program fkr buying their games that most would buy anyway. Id actually rather have a free digital game than some cheapie calendar that sits on my shelf for years anyway.
