Funny, I wouldn't put Super Mario Bros in my top 60....or 100samsonlonghair wrote:but It's not a genre-defining classic like Super Mario Bros.
What is the 57th best game in your collection?

Oh come now, I'm sure one of my NES dupes of Super Mario Bros would rate that high, followed by another one somewhere around the #137 mark and the third somewhere in the 280s.ZeroAX wrote:Funny, I wouldn't put Super Mario Bros in my top 60....or 100samsonlonghair wrote:but It's not a genre-defining classic like Super Mario Bros.

I just happen to think that Sonic is better than Mario

To be serious I think something like Super Mario Bros. is heavily dependent on how you view making a list.
If I went with my personal favorites the original Super Mario Bros. probably wouldn't crack the top 100, but SMB3 might.
If I went with historic significance or even its significance in regards to how it helped shape me as a gamer it would be pretty high on the list.

I don't think I even have 57 games, even with my SNES and DS flashcarts....

Super Mario Bros used to be #1 for me, and I don't care about historical significance. I think SMB is legit really fun, and the physics still hold up.
Man, I have no idea what the 57th game is for me. I'd have to write down a rough list I suppose.

Someone's number one is Barbie Super Model, and since Ds loves hundreds of games, that means he loves Barbie Super Model a lot more than most games.dsheinem wrote:Your #1 is my #57, loser
