Perfect this is exactly what I wanted to hear.

I detest that game, it's one of less than 10 games on my 700 game + backloggery account with a 1 star rating.

i'd say Mario Land 2 all day any day.

If I recall correctly, our difference of opinion with regard to that game is well-documented somehwere in the forums. (I will admit that it is not my favorite game in the series, but I preferred it to Wario Land 4 and Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land. I also prefer it to Super Mario Land 2, which is probably my least favorite "Mario" game.)

Well I got Wario, I'll let you know what I think.

Yes!

(Be sure to "sleep in" at the very beginning of the game for a nice surprise.)

So I'm up through the first chapter of Wario II and seems good so far. I wouldn't say it's excellent and I wish they would teach you how to use each form better, but pretty good for an old GBC game.

Like most games in the series, it takes a while to get going, and locating all of the hidden levels and treasures after you have completed the main story is probably the best part of the game.

So the squashed form? Sometimes it seems like you're supposed to jump up steps with it, but I can't seem to get it to work, so I've mostly just continued on, even though I knew there was a secret.

You will use it in a variety of creative ways before you reach the end of the game. Sometimes, it is necessary to squeeze through cracks and cross gaps, but it is most often used to "glide" to different passages. ("Gliding" to certain passages is actually one of the most challenging - and occassionally frustrating - parts of the game.)

I went back and forth on Warioland II and Ice Climber - and settled on Ice Climber since we could play co-op and mess around with it on the WiiU.

For those that haven't selected their platinum prize yet it was announced today that NES Remix 1 & 2 will be getting a combined release this holiday season. Just letting people know in case they'd prefer retail so they can get something else for their prize.
