It is still possible, for DSi's and Wiis bought after 2010. I plan on doing my DSiXL this weekend.Ziggy587 wrote:Unless you only just registered your Wii or DS console with Club Nintendo (if that's still possible) and had a bunch of unused theClub Nintendo codes from Wii and DS games.

Re: 2014 Club Nintendo Gold/Platinum Rewards
Actually, I have all of my Wii games that I never used the code from. I plan to reach platinum again this year. Hopefully next year's prizes will be something better than digital game downloads. Like I said, this was the first year I've participated in Club Nintendo and I was looking forward to getting an Elite gift after reading about past years.

I'm still unwilling to do any digital downloads from Nintendo until they get a proper account system in place. I didn't even redeem the game that came with Mario Kart Wii...

I'm 100 coins short of gold status, mainly from a DSi, Super Mario 64 DS, and a few unused Wii and DS codes not redeemed from Wii and DS games my mom and my brothers have lying around the house.
While I'm disappointed in that there's no physical rewards, I'm even more disappointed in that the downloads are for 3DS and Wii U owners. So basically, for having a DSi in 2014, I get nothing. Oh and even if I had one of those other systems....really, Super Mario Bros? I would have preferred something like Mega Man X3 or something not common, but Super Mario Bros? Jeez, I got a copy for fucking free last year. And isn't that game readily available in I dunno, damn near every Nintendo platform nowthesedays? JEEZ.

I'm just glad they tied the 3ds and WiiU eShop stuff to one account. Small steps.muramasa wrote:I'm still unwilling to do any digital downloads from Nintendo until they get a proper account system in place. I didn't even redeem the game that came with Mario Kart Wii...
Re: 2014 Club Nintendo Gold/Platinum Rewards
I just went through all my DS and Wii games and redeemed all the codes. I've already reached Platinum!
Hopefully that means with the 3DS and Wii U games I've already acquired, plus all the ones I will get by next year, that I'll be able to reach Platinum again this easily.
So... Hopefully next year's Elite rewards will be better.
Aside from no physical Elite rewards, has any one else noticed that there's a severe lack of physical rewards right now? I mean the kind that you redeem with coins throughout the year. There's only a hand full of items and it's all the crap that no one wants.

Only five physical reward "purchase" choices left and dropping. I had some coins expiring last June which I thought was also a cheap shot by Nintendo. I ended up reddeeming on both of the Kirby two seperate sets of patches. Lucky I did, one set is "currently unavailable". The patches are kept sealed in their bags which show the Club Nintendo logo and also came with a Princess Peach Club Nintendo card. I placed both sets in the Kirby Epic Yarn game case under the cards and game manual, a matchup to the patches.Ziggy587 wrote:Aside from no physical Elite rewards, has any one else noticed that there's a severe lack of physical rewards right now? Still hoping enough repercussions that will on the slim hope push a physical Platinum/Gold Gifts at the last minute. I'm waiting until the last week before relenting to a download crappy gift.
Though not likely, do Platinum Members get a Platinum Gift plus a second Gold Gift download?

If you have gold status then you cannot get certain items that are for platinum status members only. If you have platinum status, you can choose any item. Every one can only choose one item.
