My MK8 survey expires Jul 1. Can I wait until the first so the coins count for next year, or should I do the survey tonight?

depends...are you on the verge of gold or platinum?SpaceBooger wrote:My MK8 survey expires Jul 1. Can I wait until the first so the coins count for next year, or should I do the survey tonight?

I'm too lazy to Google for it... Does any one know off the top of their head... When do coins expire? If I have unused coins, do they carry over to the next [club Nintendo] year? If not, when exactly do they expire? Also, when do the Platinum prizes become available?
This is actually my first year being a Club Nintendo member, I've never done it before buying my U last summer.

I already got plat for this year, so I want these coins for the next year. So I would like to wait until tomorrow when the new club nintendo starts. I just worry that it will be gone tomorrow.dsheinem wrote:depends...are you on the verge of gold or platinum?SpaceBooger wrote:My MK8 survey expires Jul 1. I believe they expire a year from redemption. You can actually look at your account on the site and it will tell you if things are expiring. Fear not, though, as they absolutely carry over the status reset.Ziggy587 wrote:I'm too lazy to Google for it... Does any one know off the top of their head... When do coins expire? Ah, OK, cool.
So when do the Elite gifts roll out?
Like I said, this is the first time I'm participating in Club Nintendo. When I bought my Wii U, I decided to join. I got instant Platinum status because of the Wind Waker bundle, plus my 3DS system. I think I only had to register a couple other games to reach platinum.
I thought the Elite gifts come out around this time of year, right? Also, what's the drill on it? Do you have to jump on it or you'll miss out?

What's the distinction between Platinum and Elite?Ziggy587 wrote:Ah, OK, cool.

Coin Expiration: Please note that unredeemed Coins expire after 2 Club Nintendo years (July 1 - June 30).
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
I think Gold and Platinum both mean you have Elite status. The only difference between Gold and Platinum are the gifts. Gold can only get certain gifts while Platinum can choose from any.dsheinem wrote:What's the distinction between Platinum and Elite?
