Gonna try it out. Might pick up the Digital Deluxe Edition with the season pass if I like it enough. Tired of buying games and getting essentially locked out of a few of the servers :P.

It's funny you mentioned this because I was frustrated by this too then the next day my friend sent me a picture message with a screenshot showing a DLC playlist. I dunno if people like you and I missed it or if it was added shortly after we stopped looking but it was def there at least for a time.

The DLC playlist has the normal maps in it. You can play in the DLC Playlist for 5 rounds and not get a DLC map.

The game needed a server browser from the get go, if it is on PC, needs a server browser.

I think I'll just finish with the free time and be done with it. Still have over 40 hours left to play it and I have finished the militia campaign and I'm currently 3 missions in to the IMC campaign which is just a repeat anyways :P.

Things Done Well:
1. Titans are awesome and handle very well.
2. Mobility is great although I feel like infinite boosters kind of takes a lot of thought and challenge out of maneuvering around buildings.
3. Customization there are plenty of unlocks and the burner cards really spice up the action.
4. I freaking love the flying monsters that pop up in a few levels it's hilarious to see them randomly fly off with a soldier in their claws every now and then.

Things That Aren't So Hot:
1. Lobbies can take forever and every round has a somewhat long intro and end cinematic.
2. From time to time I will run into people that just flicker around the screen :P looks really awkward and makes them ridiculously hard to kill.
3, Server disconnects and being pushed into a game that is over. Happens way to often. Think in the past few hours I have been pushed into 6 or so matches that had under a minute left and in some cases I couldn't even spawn in before it was over.
4. Story I want to like it but it is hard to really keep up with what all is going on when half of the story is provided through voice overs during matches and it's hard to focus on the characters communications when in the middle of a gun fight :P.
5. Melee Kills. This hasn't happened until the last few games I played but it is driving me nuts. There are some players that are just devoted to boosting around the map as fast as they can while spamming melee and the flying kicks they dish out are insta kills :P.

At noise's suggestion, I gave this a shot. Not really my cup of tea. Oh well.

I wish the maps were a third smaller and the A.I. Bots disabled.
I rarely see human players on the ground. I don't usually get to fight them until the titans start showing up.

I got this in sale on 360 (with all the DLC, very nice) and have been enjoying it quite a bit. It's certainly the most frantic mutliplayer I've played in a loooong time.

One question though: how do you know when the campaign mode is "over"? I played it for about three hours non-stop last night and had a quite a few repeated missions but nothing that struck me as a definitive end. I guess what I'm asking is is there a win screen?

on PC you literally get a "congratulations, you have completed the campaign" screen, yeah.

Good to know. I played the Odyssey mission about 5 times last night so I was worried I was stuck in campaign limbo. I'll just keep going, it's loads of fun.
