You'll need a torx 20 bit to open up that board - you may want to open it in front of them - if the battery has leaked it may have fried the board. If not, you'll be good to go - even if the battery died you can have it phoenixed.

Blazing Star is a $60 cart. So with the motherboards for both and 3 games, $200 is fair for those bits alone - if you can salvage the cabs or pull any other parts you'll be coming out ahead.
thanks, mike. i'm looking at putting a bare minimum 150 in the neo geo as it stands (i gotta get that TV out of there and the buttons replaced first thing, the sticks are okay). as far as SFII is concerned, i'll bring a torx bit on saturday if they end up deciding they want to sell them to me. if the board is fried, i'll offer $120-150 for everything and try and find another B board to throw in the capcom cab since everything else appears okay.
