You'll need a torx 20 bit to open up that board - you may want to open it in front of them - if the battery has leaked it may have fried the board. If not, you'll be good to go - even if the battery died you can have it phoenixed.

Bust a Move is a really common boot, but even the originals look "booty" having stock EPROMS. http://www.mvs-scans.com/index.php/Bust-A-Move

Blazing Star is a $60 cart. So with the motherboards for both and 3 games, $200 is fair for those bits alone - if you can salvage the cabs or pull any other parts you'll be coming out ahead.

thanks, mike. i'm looking at putting a bare minimum 150 in the neo geo as it stands (i gotta get that TV out of there and the buttons replaced first thing, the sticks are okay). as far as SFII is concerned, i'll bring a torx bit on saturday if they end up deciding they want to sell them to me. if the board is fried, i'll offer $120-150 for everything and try and find another B board to throw in the capcom cab since everything else appears okay.

I have found that I have two indispensible toolsets when working on arcade cabinets:
1.
http://www.amazon.com/30-Pc-Precision-S ... B000FGQ1G6

2.
http://www.amazon.com/Boxer-Tools-BX-10 ... B000AYVJDI

The second requires a screwdriver, but it operates very well with a power driver.

Congrats! Very nice finds, that is a huge variety of games!

Wii Avatar The Game - $6.29 Gamestop
I was hesitant on this game, turned out not bad. Not great either, bought for the curiosity of the Balance Board mode for the flying levels.

Wii Lego Batman 2 - $12.99 ToysRUs
Sold as used, but looks new pristine inside. I have all the PS2 Lego games including Lego Batman, read this part 2 is even better.

CRTGAMER wrote:There were multiple copies of various "used games" at ToysRUs including Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, debating if worth picking that up. Never liked all the hype on all the churned out COD FPS money raking releases, but would like to at least trying one of them on the Wii.

Image

Wii Dokapon Kingdom - $24.49 $2.49 Gamestop
Used a $20.00 off coupon frequent OCD buyers club, so including the membership discount, the game only cost a couple bucks! I had this game shipped in from another store back in May right when the Gamestop refurbish center started shipping in the game disc only to all the local stores. Luckily mine was a CIB version (confirmed over the phone) by another customer who had just traded in the previous day.

In honesty the reviews on the game are right, Dokapon Kingdom is not that great in single player mode. Spin the board gamer wheel, move spaces to get an item or basic turn based fight. Boring watching the "computer" player going thru the same motions. Still there is that one more spin of the Wheel to see what lies ahead in the "Monopoly Board" quest.

Wii Domino Rally - $9.98 75% Off $2.49 ToysRUs
I had passed on this game soooo many times. Did not appear to be anything like Devil Dice, looked to simplistic a game play. At first go it does seem limited, but looked at as a puzzle game then it makes sense. The hook that first got me to finally buy it (besides the price) is the quirky music and animation that reminds me of Katamari. No, the game is no way near as good, but on its own pretty neat.

Wii uDraw Kung Fu Panda - $9.98 75% Off $2.49 ToysRUs
Only one more uDraw game to go to have the complete collection. Mighty as well have the entire limited library when found inexpensively. Couple of the uDraw games are actually pretty good, offering a "touch tablet" form of gameplay on the big screen. without investing in the WiiU.

Wii I Spy Game Pack - $5.00 Walmart
I got hooked on the "find the items" in Wii Isabella which is a great hidden gem of a game. These are not as well done, but still fun. Two separate games bundled in one case clearance for only a fiver brand new, oh why not.

Wii Music - $2.69 Gamestop
Probably worse then Guitar Hero, but ah well a different take on exploring the different musical instruments. Not creating music just parrot repeating. I look at this as more to hear different instruments as in Microsoft Musical Instruments on Windows 95. Too bad it does not include the encyclopedia descriptions as the classic PC disc.

Wii Zhu Zhu Pets - $9.98 75% Off $2.49 ToysRUs
Hamtaro? No, I guess this is based on kids toys and another cartoon show? Okay wait a minute this is not just a little kids game. Surprised at the moving platforms on later levels, dodging the balloons that kick you around. Get this game if you like 2d platformers. Its no Mario, but still quite fun.

Image

PS1 NTSCJ Chocobo Dungeon 2 - $5.00 BookOff
The bird from Final Fantasy in its own adventure, too bad this was not volume 1 which was a Japan exclusive. Couldn't pass up on the good price.

PS3 God Of War Origins $19.99 75% Off $4.99 ToysRUs
This is the PSP games upgraded to HD on the PS3. Great price for my son's PS3, maybe he'll let Dad give it a go too.

PC Angry Birds Trilogy - $10.00 Walmart
Another game I had no interest in over the years it has been out. Now that there are over priced Wii releases finally decided to check out the mouse driven PC versions since it was on clearance. Okay this game sucks. Two hours later, okay this game sucks. Wait a minute, I am doing the same thing over again; hit by a "Bejeweled disease", someone please turn off the PC!

Wii Disney Think Fast Buzz Controller Bundle $4.99 $0.99 Gamestop
Another spare set of USB Buzz controllers for use in the modified PC You Don't Know Jack series, I'm collecting these like candy.

PS2 ICO $29.99 80% Off $5.99 each Gamestop
Even though the PS3 HD collection has diminished the value of the PS2 version, I could not pass up on this. The Gamestop store had a whole rack of yellow envelopes and only three complete games in original cases. TWO Ico games both complete with manuals hiding behind a CIB new over priced sports game.
