There's nothing "technophobic" about being disinterested in or ambivalent about a luxury item like a video gaming VR application.

I don't think this type of thing is very compelling. It's nothing I want in my home any time soon. Same way I feel about smart phones, tablets, and modern gaming consoles.

It's just personal preference. And of course I have no problem with people who do dig this sort of thing.

"It has no place" is not being disinterested or ambivalent, it's being dismissive, with the tacit implication that what we have is superior. It's pure technophobia. Further, it's flat out wrong.

First of all, I never once said it has no place - I said I don't think we need it. It's just one more gimmicky piece of expensive equipment to add to the motion or 3D junk that we already have.

Can't express how much better this game is in vr. Being able to look around at upcoming track is an enormous benefit.
Whoa! I just made a post saying I thought F-Zero with Oculus would never happen (in the E3 thread) and here you've gone and done it. Most impressive!
