Real men don't use any warp zones...

Nothing personal, I just don't consider using warp zones really beating the game. Can't you technically beat the game in like five minutes or something? It's kinda the same thing as using a Game Genie and then saying you "beat" the game. Well no, you used a cheat, so it doesn't count, in my opinion. Just my two cents though, you're the one playing, after all.

Well I always seem to have the same problem with this and every other platformer like it. I can beat the first few levels no sweat, but every level after that is a pain in the rump.....I would think I wouldn't have that much trouble since the goal is the same in every world. 1-3 get to the end and 4 beat bowser. But something about my timing is always off it seems.....

NES games are all about practice, practice, practice. If you find you're getting frustrated, take a break for an hour. I do think that's part of what makes the NES so great though, because it really is a system that doesn't fuck around. It will punish you if you're not learning.

Decided to start playing Simon's Quest today and I'm loving it so far. There's something about it that's just so NES. I've heard there was quite a bit of cryptic bs in this game, but I already know quite a bit of stuff just from word of mouth the last few years alone. Anyway, I think I'll really enjoy this one.
