Rechecked and they are right, no idea if I'm using the latest version...I'm using this: http://wololo.net/installing-pro-cfw-on ... 2000-slim/

@ s8n: That does nothing because the memory stick has the CFW on it.

@ TSTR: I tried that earlier and it didn't make a difference.

What happens when you select the Pro Updater? Do you see the text that says "Hit X to install CFW"?

Comes up with a fancy blue screen that says pro psp firmware and says triangle for options.

Still need help? Is this issue rare or something? I'm surprised no ones come up with something that would fix it by now.

I modded my PSP last week. I did not encounter any of these issues...Perhaps it would be best to re-format your memory stick and start again from scratch?

The last thing I can think that's wrong is that you're following the wrong guide. I didn't notice it until now but in your first post you seem to be unsure what model your system is. Identify the model your system and follow the appropriate guide on wololo.
