Suikoden II coming to the US PSN!
Re: Suikoden II coming to the US PSN!
well, I don't know why Konami is being the a-hole here, as they are not listening to what gamers want. There have been plenty of fan request for the release of Suikoden II on PSN over the last few years, and actually there was a PSP collection of both I & II. Konami could have asked XSEED to do an English translation.

From what I understand, Konami has stated that they were so displeased with the original PS1 localization of Suikoden 2 that they would want to re-localize it entirely if they were to release it again.

Was it the translation or something?
You'd think they would've been more upset over the first game.

Necro bump!
For those that haven't heard, Suikoden II has been rated for PS3 by the ESRB. That typically points to an immanent PSN release.

IF it does come out...
I doubt this will affect the collectability or prices of the physical copy btw. I think you may see a small initial dip in prices/used copies when it drops, then it will go right back to around where it is now. Though... digital releases may actually lower the ceiling permanently for it, they almost assuredly stymie further price explosions/severe increases (unless the OG game somehow remains the "better" version).
$0.02

I'll give you a $20 psn code for one. You could buy like 3 copies for that when it releases on psn.ninjainspandex wrote:time to dump the 20 PS1 copies I have been hording

heh I always wondered why Nintendo doesn't make new NES and SNES consoles, surely there is a market for it. I guess they feel they can make more money selling $8 RomzHazerd wrote:You would think Nintendo would start making Earthbound carts again

It's beyond foolish, especially in limited quantities. They could charge $99 for new, boxed copies of Earthbound, Chrono Trigger - hell, any popular rpg series - make 25,000 copies, and sell every one. Consoles are the same way, I would love a new SNES in the box and would happily pay $150 for it.ninjainspandex wrote:heh I always wondered why Nintendo doesn't make new NES and SNES consoles, surely there is a market for it.
