Wii U owners, now is the chance to put your money where your mouth is.
Hex Heroes is a Party RTS or a Par-tee-ess. The player in control of the gamepad is the eye in the sky, determining what to build, upgrading units and viewing the map, much like a typical RTS.
The big difference here is that units are controlled by up to four players on the TV in a close third-person camera. These players gather resources, explore and reveal more of the map, fight enemies and build, all while talking with each other and with the eye in the sky for help and guidance.
The music is being done by the man behind Banjo Kazooie's amazing soundtrack and the art style is simple, but effective.
I am very excited for this game and hope that we see more games like this that will cater to the Wii U's gamepad.
