Dead Synchronicity looks like a very promising point and click adventure game with a very unique and interesting post apocalyptic sci-fi storyline.

Essentially, a series of catastrophic world events has caused people to slowly contract these mental instabilities that come with psychic powers and lead to a grueling death as you dissolve.

This plays as the gritty backdrop to a promising adventure game that really has my interest, especially with it's unique art style.

Wii U owners, now is the chance to put your money where your mouth is. Hex Heroes is a Party RTS or a Par-tee-ess. The player in control of the gamepad is the eye in the sky, determining what to build, upgrading units and viewing the map, much like a typical RTS.

The big difference here is that units are controlled by up to four players on the TV in a close third-person camera. These players gather resources, explore and reveal more of the map, fight enemies and build, all while talking with each other and with the eye in the sky for help and guidance.

The music is being done by the man behind Banjo Kazooie's amazing soundtrack and the art style is simple, but effective.

I am very excited for this game and hope that we see more games like this that will cater to the Wii U's gamepad.

Finally, something that actually makes good use of the Wii U Gamepad. Reminds me of this PA comic.

My guess is because the executives at Nintendo are allergic to smart marketing and good new game concepts that could actually sell the Wii U. That has to be it. Right?

Chaos Reborn

Genre: Turn Based Strategy

DUDES! From the guy who brought you X-COM! Need I say more? Apparently this is a remake of Julian's original game Chaos which came out for the ZX Spectrum, which most of us Americans have probably never played with, it was much more popular in Europe. It looks like a blast and is supposed to have all sorts of interesting elements to the gameplay. Can't wait and only 8 days to make their goal!! GO GO GO!!

My girlfriend showed me this earlier, so I figured I'd share it with you guys. It's described by the devs as "a charming SNES style RPG with Roguelike elements, set in a twisted fairytale world with a cheerful, yet raging alcoholic Heroine". It features nice sprite art and simple tactical combat. They've already met their funding goal, and gone way beyond it.

Whoa Dragon Fin Soup looks great. It kind of reminds me of Legend of Oasis. I'll definitely keep an eye on it.
