My NES stuff! Yeah, I'm going for complete. I've still got a looooong way to go, but I'd say I'm off to a good start. I've only been collecting for around 2 years but I'm very happy with my set thus far.

I should also note that none of this was obtained through ebay. My collection has been entirely put together through garage sales, flea markets, thrift stores and the odd deal on kijiji. I'm definitely a thrift gamer. :D

Licensed library. Nothing extremely rare, but a few gems obtained for pennies on the dollar.

Unlicensed games. Not nearly as impressive as my licensed set. LOL.

Ah ok. Have seen a little about that game before. Didn't know the cover art. The word you're looking for is lenticular.

Well I collect different platforms, but NES is my main collecting focus (I´m going for a full set).

I have over 500 games, almost 50% of them boxed, different console variants and accessories. NES was my first console, so... I just love it! :D

I'm so burned on retro collecting right now. I made it to a little over 200 NES games, and now the market has become so saturated with re-sellers, I feel like there are no deals to be had anymore. I'm not interested in paying $10-$20 a pop for old NES games, so my NES collection is at a standstill. Thinking about dumping it and concentrating on my PS2 love. The reason that I quoted you prfsnl_gmr is that I have 6 or 7 of the games on your list. When I dump them, I'll hit you up in a PM.

I'll also post a pic too, since I feel that I haven't contributed to this thread. LOL.
That's kind of an.....odd transition to go from getting burned out on collecting NES to selling them to buy PS2 games......I dunno, maybe it's just me. But whatever floats your boat.

I want to start collecting for the NES, but I am discouraged by the fact that I can be playing a game and all of a sudden BOOM! System freezes (it's actually quite thrilling come to think about it).

I actually do have one game, Final Fantasy CIB, I picked it up cause it was decently priced and figured what they hey, might as well...I always see great deals online for NES bundles so maybe I will grab one soon
The McCollum wood burned well.

Well if you already have a nes if it freezes you may want to see if there's anything to fix it...no sense trying to get another if there's nothing wrong with it besides that.

On a side note, I added adventures of lolo to my collection today for 5.99. So when dragon warrior come in I'll update the photos i have on here.

Likely the system and games need a good clean.

A paltry 188 games for the NES, my pride and joy.

Plus Mario 7-in-1 and Simon's Quest Redacted repros that I haven't figured out how to add to RFGeneration (probably impossible... the "JP" Holy Diver is actually a repro too, in NES form)

Should really get pictures of my collection up, but I'm so close to having them all "boxed" (not original boxes for 90%+ of them, but UGC's and the like) that I kinda wanna wait until I buy Bitboxes for my NES games.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread
