The pins inside the system are probably bent back from all the jiggling and such. So if you open it up and bend them back into place, it will work better. You probably also have to clean the cart with some alcohol as the connection is bad due to corrosion and loose pins.

Well I'll definitely look into it but can we get back on subject of everyones libraries soon? We really got derailed when I mentioned the pins ha ha XD

I've been going through my games and using google docs to make a list.

I had an old notepad list on my first computer. Then it got stolen.

But i've been relisting everything on my new one.

So far I have 244 US NES games. And another 15 doubles left.

I have a little bit of everything!

but not that many sports games

But come on pics please!!!!! If you've got more than 20-30 don't type it show pics I wouldn't even go though the hassle of typing all that up if it's that much XD

You're so pushy dude!

heres a pic of my Nintendo games.

sadly, no boxes. I've only got three or four of them.

But I dont care about boxed games.

I like having them like that.

When you have enough games, or even if you dont, you can make your own thread. We have a gameroom thread for that.

We love seeing that s#it.

Well I probably will in the future make one of those though for the next year or two it'll be one wall in my room at my moms(I'm a few years out from getting a decent job that will move me out of the house). Plus even getting as many games as some of you have is going to be a expensive feat in and of itself(especially since I have a lot of catching up to do on every system I own and want to own). Especially because right now I have a nes and n64(which the 64 is staying at my dads and I'm going to try to get a new one), as well as a wii(that can play gc games). As for handhelds, I have a gc color, gba sp(broken tried to fix speaker and as soon as screws were out the innards fell apart), and a ds lite. But I mean i started this thread since there's not really a nes thread, there's a snes one but that's not the same as the original nes library... Plus to me if you've got that many games a pic if it's good enough is 10x better than having to list out 30+ or 100+ games XD Hopefully by the end of the year I'll have a decent nes library and hopefully start a snes library and a better n64 library. But come on, who on here doesn't want to show off their libraries ha ha :P (also why I started the gb/c/a thread too)

You may want to go to the home theater/gameroom thread; tons of pics of everyone's collection (although not all are up to date. I know mine aren't).

Before you go bending any pins, you should remove oxidation from the cartridges themselves. Also trying to remove it from the pin connector would be a good idea too. (Cut an eraser to size, or use exceedingly fine grit sand paper, like 4000+)

I'll try to get something up later. My collection isn't large, but the boxed stuff recently tripled.

I know, I'm definitely going to check out that area of the board later but it's nice to see a library comparison of one system like this ;) And come on which of you really doesn't want to brag about your collection that actually has a decent one...plus might be awhile before I have a semi game room like I keep saying of my own, especially because all those bookshelves i'd want a extra shelf or two to keep it relatively organized and more vertical than horizontal unlike flojaca's(I think I've watched way too much avgn even if he's wrong about some games XD)

I'm so burned on retro collecting right now. I made it to a little over 200 NES games, and now the market has become so saturated with re-sellers, I feel like there are no deals to be had anymore. I'm not interested in paying $10-$20 a pop for old NES games, so my NES collection is at a standstill. Thinking about dumping it and concentrating on my PS2 love. The reason that I quoted you prfsnl_gmr is that I have 6 or 7 of the games on your list. When I dump them, I'll hit you up in a PM.

I'll also post a pic too, since I feel that I haven't contributed to this thread. LOL.
