What is your recipe for dough, I have never found one I like that is worth making. And that is my big hurdle with homemade. Well that and the Little Ceaser on the way home...

I have a few, but my go to recipe and procedure is:

In a bowl for a standing mixer (kitchen-aid with dough hook attached) combine 1.5 cups bread flour, one packet rapid rise yeast (check the expiration date) and a pinch of salt.

If you want to add herbs to the dough, now would be the time.

Stir to combine, using a flat spatula to keep things in the center of the bowl. With the hook stirring on low, add one cup of warm water and three tablespoons of olive oil. Again, press sides of bowl down with spatula (with hook stirring). Add in an additional cup of bread flour, continuing to press down the sides.

When dough forms a ball and clumps to hook, transfer dough to a lightly oiled bowl, and cover. Wait for around half an hour until dough has risen.

This makes for one large pie, or two mediums. I cook it at 425 for twenty minutes, oven light on to keep tabs on it so it doesn't burn.

^That's a basic recipe that works for me every time. I already made my wife a pizza this week, but I'd be happy to record myself making it if you'd like.

I usually throw in a tsp. of corn syrup to make the dough taste "less bready".

No need to record, I can follow a simple recipe. We are anticipating a large tomato crop this year so I am trying to get my ducks in a row for my recipes for later this year. Next year we may actually have ducks...

Here's the recipe my wife and I use for pizza dough:

It is very solid. Also, be sure to get a pizza stone. They are not erribly expensive, and they improve the result tremendously.

I didn't get hired but he took my contact info and said he would call me soon. Not terrible but not what I wanted to hear.

:( : Grandad has been in the hospital the last few days with a bladder infection. He also has Alzheimers so someone has to be with him 24/7 since his memory gets even worse when he is on pain meds. This morning I pulled a shift from 5am-11am and he was completely out of it he rambled about credit unions and he thought he was waiting to get a haircut. Plus the entire time I was there he tried to go to the bathroom every 5-10 minutes so it was constant trips back and forth from the bed to the bathroom. He wasn't cleared to go home so it looks like he will be there till at least Monday :( .

:D : To perk myself up a bit I ran around town to a couple of shops. Found some killer deals on some great wii games and got the last collector's edition copy of Killer is Dead for $20 at gamestop :).

:x : Mom volunteered me and my brother to help move a piano at the estate we have been working on. My back has been killing me recently so I wasn't to happy about it especially since the front door is located on a landing between the upper floor and the basement with a pretty narrow stair case with a railing at the top, and the piano happened to be upstairs :P.

 : Before I headed over there I called to check and make sure the piano was still being picked up when I was informed the guy who bought both refrigerators(1 upstairs one down stairs) was coming to pick them up as well :P.

:| : Luckily the guy picking up the fridges brought his own guys so I didn't have to worry about that. However lugging the 400+ pound piano over the railing, down, the stairs, and to the trailer was a heck of a job. Just glad we managed to handle it with three people and didn't have any injuries aside from a couple cuts on my hands and knuckles which I didn't even notice till after we loaded up :P.
