It's kind of sad that the Wii doesn't have any games with LAN modes. The GameCube is going to have a more enduring online precence than the Wii, thanks to LAN tunneling and unofficial PSO servers.

Also don't forget that most/all DLC should be available via WADs you can find online. Soft modding the Wii is ridiculously easy (only the PSP is easier IMO) and opens up a world of possibilities that no one should feel bad about taking advantage of once the servers drop (if, by chance, they did before)

This is why I hate gaming past the PS2 and gamecube era. They give you games that use online, and then they take it away when the game gets old! What the hell??? So if I paid money for something, years later someone will take away my ability to use it? Screw this crap man. It's not even worth investing in new video games these days. Thank goodness I have other hobbies that don't frustrate me as much as something like this.
They have escaped into the mansion where they thought it was safe, yet.

Just caught wind that someone over at mariokartwii.com is supposed to be working on getting the servers back up for MKWii after they go down. Most likely using the LAN adapter. I hope this happens because I enjoy MKWii so much and would hate to see it all come to an end so soon.
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)

Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping! :)

That would intrigue me enough to actually buy MKWii. I never did since they destroyed Battlemode and they did not have a LAN option. I own four cubes with BBAs for that reason.
