I bought a chipped modded console on here and it is on the way. I like the idea of the chip for running pressed imports, easier installation of a much bigger hard drive and plan on packing it up with emulators and some games I have bought.emwearz wrote:If your console is modded it is fairly easy to get hold of DLC, still nice to have physical copies though.CRTGAMER wrote:Nice Finds on the Demos. No really especially on the Xbox demos for the download content that can no longer be had thru Xbox live!
How would one find DLC to install and since Xbox Live is gone for the original Xbox? Besides the demo discs, is there a site supporting the older DLCs?
I'm a late arriver to the Xbox, even missed out when all the games were cheap used at Gamestop and now catching up. I actually got an Xbox brand new as a Christmas present when it just came out. Gift refunded since at the time I did not want another game machine, especially one as almost a big footprint as my beloved 5200. If only I had started earlier, would maybe even have gotten that Steel Batalion Controller when they clearanced out at certain stores.emwearz wrote:Why would you think that?RCBH928 wrote:Many people are picking stuff for the oXbox, I always thought that console didn't have enthusiasts.
Plenty of decent games on the system are going for next to nothing.
As in any console, there are great exclusives on the Xbox. Even some games of the day that only were on the PC got an old Xbox exclusive release. Not only Microsoft games, but 3rd party as well.
