Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I think if we really knew how much bullshit we don't have to read through because of our mods, we would appreciate them a lot more. But only the mods know what they delete. It is a thankless job that I am thankful not to have.
My contributions to the Racketboy site:
Browser Games ... Free PC Games ... Mixtapes ... Doujin Games ... SotC Poetry

It's not that bad. 99% of my time on the board is spent like any other user. There are threads and forums I'm way active in (Games Beaten, Nintendo, Off-Topic) and others that I barely ever touch (Sega, Together Retro, etc). The forum software does a great job of getting our attention when someone is causing trouble so we don't have to poke around more than to just keep up on the active topics.

And of course, BST. I'll never stop saying it: BST is probably the most trouble on the entire forum. New users tend to see that forum when they find Racketboy through Google searches and they make a beeline once they register. Keeping spammy threads or opportunistic jerks out of BST is the main job of us lower-level mods.

And I'll be honest, that's also where we take the most abuse. New users tend to get real vocal when you delete their threads where they spent an hour putting together a bunch of tags and links to images - that they shouldn't have been doing it at all always goes over their heads.

Higher level mods like Hobie, Ack, and Fastbilly have a lot more to do since they help keep the site and registration system moving along.

I mostly just use my enhanced powers to nuke spammers. Ack and Fast are the ones using the mega utility belts.

It might just be the threads you visit.
Yea probably lol. I usually just use the Sega section.

I guess we are just a really cool and respectful fanbase. Score one for Sega!!

There's probably more than one.

If this is true, I'm aroused by the mere thought.
