What's strange is that some other standard 2D genres, specifically shooters and fighters, continue to be made in modern styles but still in 2D; while the 2D beat-em-up really has died. A few older titles and CC are available now via download, but it hasn't turned the heads of game makers yet.Ack wrote:That might partly be due to the transition to 3D.
