I also like The 7th Saga, Lagoon, Quest 64, and Hydlide. So take everything I say with a grain of salt.
I do, but it's because I like salt. Also: The 7th Saga is awesome.

EDIT: Oh wait. The 7th SAGA not GUEST.

Its not as bad as it was made out to be. It isnt amazing, but a decent early ps1 rpg.

It's entertaining. There's nothing wrong with it considering its age (came out it 1984 - same year as Dragon Slayer and Tower of Druaga). It's one of the first action RPGs ever made.

Super Hydlide (Hydlide 3) is probably the best in the series though.

No shame. I also like The 7th Saga and Quest 64, and Lagoon is one I plan to play next year. At least you didn't say Brandish.

Uh-huh. And Secret of The Stars?

That said, you know what SNES RPG doesn't get the attention it deserves? Arcana. Such a wonderful game, yet so few have played it.

Can't say I "like" Secret of the Stars... It's amusing I guess. Oh and I bought it with Christmas money so I guess I need to replay it.

But I do like every Falcom game. Brandish is weird, but entertaining once you get used to the controls.

Finally got Arcana this year. It is indeed quite good.

E.T. and Jaws (NES) are good games. E.T. has quite a bit of depth for a 2600 game and Jaws is a fun arcade-style game that you can finish in 10-15 minutes.

Well, if there ever was a person who felt that E.T. wasn't as bad as the rest of the world says, it was me. I asked for the game for Christmas. That's right. I'm a badass now. If you kept playing it and completing it, your point bonus would increase and you could get some crazy scores. The game was rushed, the pits are a pain, but it's still fun if only for the exploration features.

As for Jaws, would you believe I called Nintendo's Game Counselors to figure out how to beat it? This was before YouTube and videos and stuff. Turns out, I had to kill Jaws with the red pole in front of the boat. I kept missing out on that. Not that the GC's advice was all that great anyway. "Just keep collecting strobes." Yeah, thanks. Finally beat it in the late 90s and was very disappointed with the ending.
